I swear he is saying "Bowling Shirt" :D
Tried to post this in July...

Whew…we are having one busy summer here! Nicholas decided to get season passes to our amusement park (Lagoon) instead of doing summer camp. We’ve been going up quite a bit. They offer 2 free games of bowling a day at our local bowling alley, so have taken advantage of that as well. They opened a really cool new pizza place with mini golf, bowling, & games. We’ve been there a lot this summer too. We’re also hanging out with friends quite a bit. It seems that we have something fun going every day of the week.

We had visitors for 3 straight weeks in June/July. My mom was out for a week between her school year ending and summer school. Then John’s parents were out for 2 weeks right after that. My mom is coming back for most of August! She’ll be here 20+ days. We aren’t able to fly anywhere until Nicholas gets his ears operated on this fall. His right ear drum ruptured back in the winter and his left tube is clogged. The ENT wants to have to put him under only once, so he’ll get his ear drum reconstruction on the right and a new tube on the left at the same time. He wants to wait until he is a bit closer to 5 to try to avoid having to put a tube in his new ear drum.

I am really looking forward to the extra help when my mom is here as we get Nicholas ready to start school. He’ll be in Pre-K at St. John the Baptist. He’s excited to being going to a new school and he loves his new uniforms. They have navy blue shorts & pants, so he is really excited about that  He’ll be going 4 days a week in the afternoons. I’m thinking of getting Zachary into My Gym classes since it is right by Nicholas’s new school. Both the boys are getting bigger and smarter every day. Zachary is talking a lot now, which makes my car rides even more fun :D I have 2 boys yelling “Go” right when the light turns green (no matter how many cars are in front of us)! HAHA

John was recently promoted to Development Manager at work. We’re all really proud of him!! He’s still playing basketball a few times a week. And, he’s been getting out golfing & mountain biking a bit these days too. I’m staying busy taking the boys all around town. I finally took John up on his offer to take 1 night a week to hang out with the girls. It’s a nice break to get out for sure :)

I’ll try to update the Blog again soon.

Zion Trip

We went to St. George, UT from 5/10-5/14. After 8.5 years of living in Utah, we fianlly made it to Zion National Park. It was beautiful! We did a few hikes and took the bus the whole way up the canyon. Here are some of our pics...

Nicholas skiing Videos 2-28-10

Solitude 2-28-10

We took the boys to Solitude yesterday. Nicholas did great skiing! He can control his speed and stop now :) Zachary did ok in his backpack watching for 1 run. Then he went into the lodge to watch the US/Can hockey game. We hope to take them up again this Sunday.

Zachary cheering when the US got their goal with 24 seconds to go. I'm not kidding...the place erupted and he went wild :D
